Create a Community Makerspace – Work on craft projects with your friends!

We are a 501(c)(3) working on a community of like-minded hobby-loving makers, tinkers, technophiles, and people who are looking to learn a new and interesting practical skill that is craft or trades related. This space will enable public and community members to collaborate on projects, seek advice and training mentorship from professionals and other skilled hobbyists. This includes individuals with entrepreneurial goals or talents. The space will be open to the public, outfit it with woodworking, metalworking, and other maker materials.

Big Space, Lots of Potential

Our space is 1,000-2,000 sf. We need to get a 100% Construction Plan Set designed and bid for an existing build-out space. Your funding will support the design and construction of a makerspace for all to use. This is a community-oriented space with membership dues to keep the lights on. The more money we receive the less membership fees would be required or the more tools we could acquire.

• Build a woodshop

• Build a metal working shop

• Build additional spaces as funding opportunities allow: 3D printing, soldering/electronics, fabrication, pottery, textiles, culinary, etc.

A fun and community-oriented space designed to foster hobbies and local economic development for new business or start-ups.
