What is a Maker Lab?
A Maker Lab is a space for recreation, community, and creativity, offering access to modern tools for learning and discovery. It’s a hands-on environment where people can engage in both traditional and innovative trades. This initiative is open to adults from all backgrounds and skill levels.
Who Can Use the Maker Labs?
18 years of age or older with Paid Membership. Children are allowed only with Adult Member supervision & signed waiver.
What Fees are Associated with CCML Membership
CCML Labs charges a monthly membership fee of $150.00. This fee gives members access to all equipment & tools provided they receive brief training in the operation of complex or dangerous equipment.
Where is CCML Located?
Craftsman Community Maker Labs is located at 5201 US Hwy 6, Suite #2 Portage, Indiana. The space is located within the Neighborhood Educational Opportunities NEO campus.

Availability for Space Usage & Membership?
The space will be open to members daily from 8 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday, with plans to extend hours to weekends and 24/7 access using an RFID card. An exclusive page for members will allow equipment reservations, and safety training will also be provided.
